The Department of History endorses GENU-UAW

We are excited to announce our first endorsement from an academic department at Northeastern! Faculty of the Department of History have written a letter stating their strong support for our campaign to organize a union for teaching and research assistants. The letter recognizes our contributions to the university, writing, “We wish also to acknowledge the integral role graduate students play as employees in the History Department and in other units and colleges.”

GENU-UAW is part of a long history of worker unions that have organized collectively to win improvements in wages and conditions. We are grateful for their support! Read the full letter here.
