The March for Science is a national campaign taking place in cities across the country, with a major rally in Washington D.C. We may not all be scientists, but we know that threats to science are threats to all of us in academia.
Join fellow graduate workers at Northeastern University and march together in support of science, academic funding, and in defense of higher education! April 22, 2017.
Get on the bus! Our union, the United Auto Workers is organizing buses for graduate workers to travel from Boston to Washington D.C. for the March for Science. The bus will likely be overnight down-and-back, and will have minimal or no costs. Join GENU-UAW and fellow graduate workers from Harvard University, Boston College, U. Connecticut, and others from the Boston area.
If you aren’t able to travel to D.C., then join us as we march in the Boston March for Science! GENU-UAW will have a meeting place so we can join together for the march.
